Richard Woodruff and Donna Woodruff of Atlanta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolina Stamm Woodruff, to John Vincent Barbato Jr., son of Christine Walton and John Barbato of Vero Beach, Florida. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ruth Labuzan and the late Theodore Samuel Stamm Junior of Atlanta, and Jane Woodruff and the late Richard King of Atlanta.
Miss Woodruff is a graduate of Woodward Academy and Rollins College. She received a Bachelors of English with concentrations in Literature and Education and was the Senior Chair of her sorority Delta Zeta. Miss Woodruff is also a member of the Rollins College President's Contemporary Council and was presented by the Atlanta Debutante Club at the 2010 Harvest Ball at the Piedmont Driving Club. She is currently working in Winter Park, Florida where she hopes to pursue a career in Interior Design.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Crockett Herd and Judy Stalheber. He attended the St. Edwards School in Vero Beach, Florida and the University of Mississippi. He is currently employed as a Representative at Herd Enterprises.
The October wedding is planned at the Woodruff's family lodge, Rockwood Lodge, in Highlands, North Carolina.
