Mr. and Mrs. William D. Renner, Jr. of Cumming, Georgia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Brooke Renner, to Mark Gregory Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Gregory Davis of Cooper City, Florida.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Colonel (Retired) and Mrs. William D. Renner, Sr. of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mrs. Jerry R. Penrod and the late Jerry R. Penrod of Dayton, Ohio. She is a graduate of North Hall High School and North Georgia College and State University where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She received a Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2007 and now practices as a neurosurgery physician assistant in metro Atlanta.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Davis of Warren, Michigan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Israel Orta of Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. He is a graduate of Cooper City High School and attended the University of Florida. He recently celebrated his tenth anniversary with Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta where he is employed as an operations supervisor for TBS and TNT.

Courtney and Mark will be married on October 5, 2013 at Summerour Studio in Atlanta. They currently reside in Smyrna, Georgia.
