Heather Hale and Rob Riggs were married on March 29, 2014 at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, Riverfront Lawn. Heather wore her Grandmother Hale's 1937 hand-made wedding gown of ivory silk satin. Heather is the daughter of Patrick and Patricia Hale of Fayetteville, GA, and she is the granddaughter of the late Arthur and Mary Susan Hale and the niece of the late George Hale, former residents of Atlanta and Fayetteville, GA. Her maternal grandparents were the late A. Elmer and Irene Hill Livingston of Fitzgerald, GA. Heather graduated with a Jurist Doctor degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School.
Rob is the son of Lois Riggs of Greenville, SC and Bob and Belinda Riggs of Hamilton, NJ. His maternal grandparents were the late Charles and Myrtle King of Rochester, Ohio. His paternal grandfather was the late Robert Riggs, Sr. of Clarksburg, WV. His paternal grandmother is Shirley Louise Ranson of Taylors, SC, and his paternal step-grandfather was the late William Ranson of Taylors, SC. Rob graduated from Pensacola Christian College with degrees in Business Management and Marketing.
Following a honeymoon in Central America, the couple will reside in Atlanta, GA.
