AUGUSTA - Jacqueline Marie Hatfield and William Christopher Jones were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at St. James United Methodist Church in Augusta. Rev. Randall W. Monk officiated. Jackie is the daughter of Mr. Loren R. Hatfield III and Mrs. Deborah B. Shaw, both of Evans. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce E. Burnham of Grovetown, Ga., Mr. Loren R. Hatfield, Jr. and Mrs. Jacqueline P. Morton, both of Augusta, and Christine R. McElmurray of Martinez, Ga. She is a 2003 graduate of Greenbrier High School and a 2007 and 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Education. She was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and is employed by the Columbia County Board of Education as a elementary teacher at Brookwood Elementary. Will is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Jones of Evans, Ga. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Todd of Warrenton, Ga. and Mr. Donald Jones of Augusta and Ms. Carolyn Jones of Greer, S.C. He is a 2003 graduate of Oak Hill Academy and is employed by Gerald Jones Imports. Given in marriage by her father, Jackie chose her sister, Brittnie Hatfield and her best friend, Ashley D. Viebrock, both of Grovetown, to serve as her maid and matron of honor respectively. Bridesmaids were Crystal Jones of Evans, sister of the groom, Melissa M. Jordan, Christina Skinner, both of Grovetown, Avery Newman, Melissa Lewis, both of Evans, Charlotte King of Savannah, Ga., all friends of the bride, Stormi Hatfield of Evans, sister of the bride, and Chrissie Coleman of Greenwood, S.C., cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Avery and Finely Jones of Evans, nieces of the groom. Will chose his father, David W. Jones of Evans, to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Clay Skinner of Grovetown, best friend of the groom, Scott Guyer, Jeff Rexroat, both of Grovetown and friends of the groom, Daniel Jordan, Jimmy Viebrock, both of Grovetown and friends of the bride and groom, Sid Slown of Grovetown, Chris Hatfield of Evans, brothers of the bride, Patrick Jones of Evans, brother-in-law of the groom, and Ivan Kiefer of Warrenville, S.C., uncle of the bride. Ring bearer was Siler Kiefer of Warrenville, cousin of the bride. The wedding director was Mrs. Beth Mobley. The photographer was Mrs. Judy Kay Bryan. Readers were Lauren J. Brown and Gregory A. Jones. Program attendants were Madyson Lowe and Raquel Burnham. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Richmond on Green Hotel in Augusta. The couple will reside in Evans, Ga.
