Baxter - Boggs
Fripp Island, S.C. - Allison Carol Boggs and Steven Ryan Baxter were united in marriage at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Fripp Island Chapel on Fripp Island, S.C. Reverend John Kenney officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul James Boggs of Macon, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Williams of Barnesville, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. James Boggs of Barnesville, Ga. She is a 2005 graduate of Center High School, and a graduate of Valdosta State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in 2008, and in 2010 a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders. Allison currently is employed by Kidnetic Energy Therapies as a Speech-Language Pathologist. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Steven Baxter of Evans, Ga. He is the grandson of Mrs. Franziska Rosier and the late Mr. Raymond Rosier, of Evans, Ga., and Mr. Gerald Baxter and the late Mrs. Janice Baxter of Columbia, S.C. He is a 2000 graduate of Evans High School, and a 2005 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's in History. Ryan currently is employed by Pollock Company as an Applications Specialist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her childhood best friend, Mrs. Katie Stanley Holder of Monroe, Ga., to serve as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Megan Huffman of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. Sarah Parten of Valdosta, Ga., Mrs. Lynsey Thomas of Valdosta, Ga., all college friends of the bride, Mrs. Courtney Webb of Pooler, Ga., friend of the bride, and Miss Emily Williams of Meansville, Ga., cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Miss Amy Boggs of Barnesville, Ga. and Miss Chloe Struble of Valdosta, Ga. The groom chose his brother, Mr. Charles Wesley Baxter of Lexington, S.C., to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Mr. David Boggs of Dahlonega, Ga., brother of the bride, Mr. Travis Cain of Evans, Ga., Mr. Zac McNeely of Martinez, Ga., Mr. Aaron Michaels of Cumming, Ga., and Mr. Brent Timmerman of Smyrna, Ga., all friends of the groom. The bride wore a lace and taffeta a-line gown with lace cap sleeves. She wore an antique diamond ring given by her paternal grandmother on her right hand, and her bouquet was wrapped with a lace handkerchief used in her baptism. The wedding director was Mrs. Jayne Sawyer Smith of Macon, Ga. Photographer was by John Wollwerth of Wollwerth Imagery in Beaufort, S.C. Music was performed by pianist Miss Michelle Krasinski and Guitarist and Soloist Mr. Tyler Versteeg. Attendants were Miss Katie Thompson and Miss Ashleigh Thompson both of Mooresville, N.C., and Miss Molly Boggs of Barnesville, Ga. The couple's reception was held at Fripp Island Beach Club on Fripp Island, S.C. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon at Walt Disney World and they currently reside in Grovetown, Ga.
