HARLEM, Ga. - Christopher Grey Anderson and Amanda Faith Green were united in marriage July 17, 2010 at Harlem United Methodist Church in Harlem, Ga. Dr. John Newell officiated. Amanda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Green of Harlem. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Blanchard and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Green, Jr. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BA in Early Childhood Education. She is a member of Harlem United Methodist Church. She is employed by Columbia County Board of Education as a Teacher. Chris is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Anderson, Jr. of North Augusta, S.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Jones, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Anderson, Sr. He is a graduate of University of South Carolina with a Degree in Journalism. He is a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He is the owner and operator of Chem-Dry of Aiken, S.C. Given in marriage by her father, Amanda chose her sister, Mrs. Alison Couch of Grovetown, Ga., to serve as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashlyn Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., sister of the groom, Crystal Bush of Martinez, Ga., cousin of the bride, Rachel Riggs of Statesboro, Ga., Ashley Weber of Harlem, and Jenifer Williams of North Augusta, all friends of the bride. Chris chose his father to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Samuel Anderson III of North Augusta, brother of the groom, Charles Faulkner, William Taylor, Seth Howard, Mark Vander Linden, and Jon Williams, all of North Augusta, all friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Chadwick Ryan Couch, Jr. of Grovetown, nephew of the bride. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Old Medical College in Augusta. The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica. The couple resides in North Augusta.
