AUGUSTA - Jessica Jane Lariscey and Wendell Phillip Chavous, Jr. were united in marriage at 4 p.m., July 17, 2010 at Sacred Heart Cultural Center. Greg Bentley officiated. Jessica is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lariscey of Hephzibah, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Harry and Evelyn Madden of Augusta and Bill and Doris Lariscey, Sr. of Hephzibah, Ga. She is a graduate of Hephzibah High School and Augusta Technical College and is employed by Great Clips as the assistant manager. Wendell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Chavous, Sr. of Hephzibah. He is the grandson of the late Andrew and Carolyn Stewart of Augusta and Iva Jean Chavous and the late Jack Chavous of Hephzibah. He is a graduate of Hephzibah High School and is employed by C & L Mechanical as a plumber and heating and air technician. Given in marriage by her parents, Jessica chose her best friend, Crystal Salvatore of Hephzibah and her cousin, Carrie Lassiter of Augusta, to serve as her maid and matron of honor respectively. Bridesmaids were Carlee Stewart of Appling, cousin of the groom, Christy Munoz of Augusta, friend of the bride, and Haley Madden of Hephzibah, niece of the bride. Flower girl was Kaylin Madden of Hephzibah, niece of the bride. Wendall chose his father to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Andy Stewart of Evans, Brian Stewart of Appling, uncles of the groom, and Mitch Carter of Evans, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Andrew Stewart of Appling, cousin of the groom. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Sacred Heart Cultural Center in Augusta. The newlyweds honeymooned in the Bahamas. The couple resides in Hephzibah, Ga.
