ST. LOUIS, MO - Althea "Allie" Otheal Deckrosh and John Robert Wilson were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Chesterfield Presbyterian Church in Chesterfield, MO. Rev. Per Almquist and Rev. Jeremy Bedenbaugh officiated. Althea is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis D. Deckrosh of North Augusta, SC. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Claud Allen Boyd, Sr. of Jackson, MS and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence L. Deckrosh of Lima, OH. Althea is an honor graduate of North Augusta High School, a magna cum laude graduate of Furman University with a BA in French and Political Science, and a summa cum laude graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO with a MA in Counseling. She is employed by Hope Crossing Christian Counseling in St. Louis as a Therapist. John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Wilson of Cuba, MO. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Munzert of Cuba, MO and the late Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Wilson of DeSoto, MO. John is a graduate of Cuba High School in Cuba, MO and a graduate of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO with a BA in History. He is employed by the St. Louis City Library as a Library Technician of the Business Science and Technology Department. Given in marriage by her parents, Althea chose Mrs. Rachel Manning, her college roommate of Greenville, SC, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Angela Waters, sister of the bride of Greenwood, SC, Miss Amy Register, college friend of the bride of Costa Mesa, CA, Miss Emma Waters and Miss Della Waters, nieces of the bride of Greenwood, SC. Flower girl was Miss Althea "Allie" Manning, namesake of the bride. The program attendants were Mr. Aidan Waters and Mr. Asa Waters, nephews of the bride of Greenwood, SC. John chose Gary Leibovich, his brother in law, of St. Louis, MO, to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Jeffery Wilson, brother of the groom of Cuba, MO, Mr. Matthew Gage, friend of the groom of St. Louis, MO, Mr. Michael Werkheiser, friend of the groom of St. Louis, MO, and Mr. Jason Watson, college friend of the groom of Chicago, IL. Readers were Robin Leibovich, sister of the groom, Karah and Rachel Leibovich, nieces of the groom. Ushers were Mr. Timothy Leibovich and Mr. Adam Wilson, nephews of the groom. Guest book attendants were Abi Leibovich and Bethany Leibovich, nieces of the groom. Special music was provided by Heather and Jeremiah Dietiker, niece of the groom and her husband and Brittany Wilson, niece of the groom and her fiancŽ, Casey Peterson. Piano: Mr. Ryan McMillan; trumpet, Mr. Adam Hucke; guitar, Mr. Jeremiah Dietiker and Casey Peterson; and photographer, Artistic Soup LLC. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Kemp Auto Museum in Chesterfield, MO. The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii. The couple resides in Kirkwood, MO (St. Louis).
