Caroline Mullins & Blake Underwood

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Miss Caroline Irene Mullins and Mr. Blake Andrew Underwood were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Lowndes Grove Plantation in Charleston. The Reverend Ronald Harold Jones, Jr. officiated. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Christopher Mullins of Augusta, GA. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Bernard Mullins and the late Dr. William Bernard Mullins, both of North Augusta, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hampton Spradley, of Aiken, S.C. Caroline is a graduate of the University of Georgia and will graduate from the Medical College of Georgia in May. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stephen Hovan of Augusta, GA and Mr. Kenneth Lee Underwood of Panama City, Panama. He is the grandson of the late Mrs. Ruth Turck Sutherland and Mr. Maurice Sweeney Kelleher of Canal Zone, Panama and the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Leroy Underwood of Canal Zone, Panama. Blake is a graduate of Duke University. Given in marriage by her father, Caroline chose her sister, Mrs. Abigail Kate Mullins Moody of Macon, GA, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Kiron Mallya of Alexandria, VA, sister-in-law of the bride, and Miss Paige Michelle Walker of Atlanta, GA, friend of the bride. Honorary bridesmaids were Dr. Lauren Elaine Spradley of Memphis, TN, cousin of the bride; Miss Breck Elizabeth Ardrey of Marietta, GA, Miss Allison Lee Blalock of Atlanta, GA, and Miss Emily Kathryn Seal of Augusta, GA, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Miss Lila Kate Moody, Miss Caroline Elizabeth Moody and Miss Sally Frances Moody, of Macon, GA, all nieces of the bride. Best men were Bernard Robert Underwood of St. Simons Island, GA, and Derek Nicholas Underwood of Los Angeles, CA, both brothers of the groom; and Stuart Bradford Underwood of Tulsa, OK, step-brother of the groom; Mr. Andrew Kelleher Hotsko of College Station, TX, cousin of the groom; and Mr. Joseff Lellweyn of Riverside, Cardiff, Wales, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Matthew Christopher Hotsko of Panama City, Panama, and Mr. James Hotsko Jr. of Arlington, VA, both cousins of the groom; Mr. Stephen Christopher Mullins Jr. of Alexandria, VA, and Mr. Philip Harrison Mullins of New Orleans, LA, both brothers of the bride. Usher was Mr. Rhett Lloyd Moody III of Macon, GA, brother-in-law of the bride. Ring bearer was Master Blake Michael Tanton of St. Simons Island, GA, nephew of the groom.
