Maggie Rose Pilcher Maj. Brian Richard Jenson Pilcher-Jenson Maggie Rose Pilcher and Maj. Brian Richard Jenson, U.S. Army, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. July 1, 2017, in the Cadet Chapel at West Point United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. The bride is the daughter of Mitchell and Judy Pilcher. Her grandparents are Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Jack and Gayle Strukel and Marilyn Pilcher and the late Dean Pilcher. All are of Topeka, Maggie's brother, Erik Dean Pilcher, passed away in 2003. Parents of the groom are Kirk and Kimberly Jenson of Nazareth, Pa. During the ceremony, the groom was flanked with fellow brothers-in-arms in traditional Army mess dress attire. The beautiful bride was accompanied by some of her closest friends, all from the Topeka area. As the stunning couple exited the chapel, they walked beneath an arch of sabers drawn by six Army veteran warriors A reception followed at the U.S.M.A. West Point Club. The reception hall was decked in full military regalia, and featured huge windows overlooking the Hudson River and some historic locations on the campus. The bride is a 2009 graduate of Shawnee Heights High School of Tecumseh, KS. She attended Washburn University and is currently a corporate trainer and manager for a large retail restaurant chain. The groom is a 2005 graduate of West Point. Immediately following his commission, he embarked on a tour which included several deployments to the Middle East. The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica. They currently reside at a United States Army post in the South.
