Attending were their three daughters, Leah Sallye Shearin and husband Doug, Caron Blanche Jones, Susan Miriam O'Connell, son Berkley Leo Williams, Elizabeth Williams; grandchildren, Lara Miriam Overy and husband Rick, Melanie Walton and husband Leo, Andrew O'Connell, Patrick O'Connell, Katherine Rose O'Connell, Berkley John Williams, Daniel Leo Williams and greatgrandchildren, Isabel Miriam Overy, Madison Overy, Hailie Vega, Abbey Walton, Kaitlyn Walton, and new arrival, Leo Gray Walton.
Leah and her daughter, Lara, arranged the affair which included a formal dinner, a tour of the gardens, and a surprise overnight stay at the Inn. The evening was magical and included much laughter, some sentimental tears, and many fond memories.
One of the highlights of the evening was a poem written and recited by their son Berkley, extolling the family history of the marriage.
The children want to thank their parents for their steadfast love, affection and devotion they have shown to each other throughout the years, and to thank them for loving their family as they do. Also, the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren want them to know how much they are admired, loved and cherished.
God has blessed all of us by giving us each other.
Love you Dad and Mom.
