Dunlay - Terwey
Margaret Elizabeth Dunlay and Aaron Matthew Terwey were united in marriage on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas, by Reverend Dr. Jay W. Lee. Dinner and dancing at Rosewood Crescent Hotel followed the ceremony.
Margaret is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan William Dunlay of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Elliott Jennings, Sr. of Mansfield, the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip John Dunlay, and the late Mr. W. M. Mooneyham. Aaron is the son of Ms. Christina Clare Pesoli and Mr. Timothy Arnold Terwey, both of Austin. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Donald Charles Goertz of Austin, the late Mr. Peter Lawrence Pesoli, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ignatius Terwey.
The bride wore a strapless ball gown designed by Vera Wang with floating layers of Chantilly and Alencon lace hand placed on the bodice and throughout the skirt. The softly tucked French tulle skirt lifted in front to reveal a swirling pleated organza insert. To complete her bridal look, she wore a cathedral length veil.
The bride's sister, Emily Dunlay, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids included the groom's sister, Hannah Brannon, the bride's cousin, Lily Kissick, and friends Jiwon Kim, Nasim Sobhani, and Hannah Meadows Watkins. Joseph Young served as Best Man. Groomsmen were James Faulkner, Matt May, Austin Pennington, Brady Tilghman, and Jarratt Watkins. Ushers were Ben Halbig, Craig Harper, Jacob Ramsey, and Russell Weiner.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and a 2013 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where she was a member of the Michigan Law Review. She is currently a law clerk in Dallas for Judge David C. Godbey of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Colgate University and a 2012 graduate of Notre Dame Law School. He currently works in Dallas for the law firm Locke Lord LLP.
