Leslie Ann Lee of Plano and Michael David Dalton of Plano were wed on November 3, 2012 at 6:30 in the evening. The ceremony, officiated by Dr. C. Gene Wilkes, was held at Barton Creek Resort in Austin with a reception following.
The bride, daughter of Robert and Judy Lee of Plano, is the granddaughter of Mrs. Valree Evans of Blanket, Texas and the late Calvin Evans and the late Ann and Ray Lee. The groom, son of Mark and Katherine Hale of Plano and David and Lori Dalton of Palmyra, New York, is the grandson of the late Charles and Jean Hughes and David and Helen Dalton.
Matron of honor was sister of the bride, Lexi Droemer. Bridesmaids were sister of the groom, Mary Dalton, Laurie Jones, Sena Williams and Renee Yavari. Best man was brother of the groom, Justin Dalton. Groomsmen were Saaed Alizadeh, cousin of the groom, Matthew Dalton, Paul Kissell and Simon Woldu. Nieces of the bride and groom, Isabella Droemer, Jameson Dugan and Isabella Hale, served as flower girls. Nephew of the groom, Keating Dugan, served as ring bearer.
Musical selections chosen for the ceremony were "La Vie en Rose", "All of Me", "The Way you Look Tonight" and "In the Mood". They were performed by Austin Jazz Workshop.
The bride chose a silk taffeta gown, designed by Judd Waddell, for her wedding. The strapless gown featured an elegant modified sweetheart neckline with a soft ruched bodice. Traditional covered buttons provided a delicate finish at the back of the bodice. The gown's skirt featured several draped gathers, fell to slipper length and flowed into a graceful chapel length train. The bride customized her gown with a satin sash adorned with crystal beading and pearls to accentuate her natural waistline. To complete her look, Leslie selected a cathedral length veil of silken illusion trim accented with a silver tiara, borrowed from her sister, featuring a floral design complimented by Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls. The bride carried a lush bouquet of ranunculus hand tied with gunmetal gray ribbon.
Leslie and Michael are both graduates of Plano Senior High School. The bride graduated from University of North Texas in 2010 where the groom is currently continuing his education. The couple will reside in Prosper after a honeymoon in Ireland.
