Hinton - Busenlener
Kathleen Shea Hinton and Riley John Busenlener were married on May 25, 2013 at seven thirty in the evening at the Destrehan Plantation, Louisiana. The outdoor ceremony was officiated by the Honorable Terry Alarcon and attended by a large contingency of family and friends from both Louisiana and Texas. In the finest New Orleans tradition the wedding party followed a spirited Second Line around the plantation grounds to the cavernous Mule Barn for the reception, replete with live music performed by the Yat Pack and a Cajun themed buffet featuring whole roast pig and shrimp and grits. On the evening preceding the ceremony the Groom's parents hosted a Rehearsal Dinner at Galatoire's Restaurant in the French Quarter.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Brenda Hinton of Lake Highlands. The groom is the son of John and Suetta Busenlener of Metairie, Louisiana. Kathleen is a 2004 graduate of Tulane University and earned her Masters from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. She is a Web Developer at Imperial Trading Company, Elmwood, Louisiana. Riley is a Vice President with the investment banking firm, Chaffe and Associates in New Orleans having earned his MAcc, magna cum laude, from Florida State University and his J.D. from the Paul M. Herbert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2002.
The happy couple honeymooned in France and Ireland before returning to their home in Metairie.
