White - Theissen
Miss Melanie Lauren White and Mr. William (Bill) Richard Theissen were united in marriage on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at half after six o'clock in the evening at First United Methodist Church of Dallas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. John Fiedler. Following the ceremony, the bride's family hosted a reception at Three Three Three First Avenue. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's family hosted a rehearsal dinner at Iron Cactus.
The bride is the daughter of Sherri and the late Daryl White of Richardson, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Gerry and the late James Risinger of McKinney, Texas, and the late Howard and Velma White of Mesquite, Texas. The groom is the son of Cindy Theissen and Kelly Theissen of Bedford, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Bob and Peggy Edmunds of Adrian, Michigan, and the late Scott and Nancy Theissen of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Serving as Matrons of Honor were Jamie Gibbon and Vicky McKinney. Bridesmaids were Kim White, sister-in-law of the bride, Pam Cowan and Megan Theissen, sisters of the groom, Kristin DeLong, Rachel Evans, Angela Grisham, and Amy Scott. Craig Theissen, cousin of the groom, and Aaron Tilley served as Best Men. Groomsmen were Jeff White, brother of the bride, Tom Brouillard, Chris Burroughs, Bill Davis, Jeff Frilot, Mark Toth and Josh Shirley. Nieces of the bride and groom, Grace White and Sarah Cowan served as flower girls. Jennie Clark and Gable Roby read scripture during the ceremony.
Melanie and Bill are both graduates of Texas A&M University. Melanie is a school counselor for Richardson ISD, and Bill is employed in IT Corporate Audit for PepsiCo. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and now resides in Dallas, Texas.
