Nicole Marie Lattner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas John Lattner of Dallas Texas , and John Michael Fox son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph James Fox, of Heath, Texas, were united in marriage on Saturday, May 4, at Christ the King Catholic Church by Father Phillip Postell, S. J. and Monsignor Donald Zimmerman.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Francis Pitts, the late Mr. Uel Edwin Pitts, the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilfrid John Lattner, all of Dallas, Texas. The bridegroom is the grandson of the Command Sergeant Major (Retired) John Francis Hamilton and the late Kathleen Geraldine Hamilton of Willingboro, New Jersey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph John Fox of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an elegant gown of white silk designed by Monique L'huiller for Neiman Marcus. The silk white dropped waist gown was fashioned of Chantilly lace, the ball gown skirt with double layer peplum. The gown was accentuated at the natural waist with an Oscar de la Renta crystal belt. To complete her ensemble, she wore a single layer of silk illusion, which framed her face and flowed beyond her train.
The bride carried a hand crafted bouquet of open white peonies with a touch of grey berzellia berries and some dusty miller around the collar. The silk ribbon collar was accented by the Bride's Grandmother's, Marie Kula Lattner, crystal rosary and bridegroom's baptismal bonnet made into a wedding hankie.
The marriage was witnessed by Nicole's sister and maid of honor, Mrs. Ashley Lattner Young, and John's brother and best man, Mr. Joseph John Fox. They were also joined by bridesmaids Mrs. Katherine Freeman Cathcart, Mrs. Allenna Bangs Costanza, Miss Katharine Elise Chitty, Miss Jennifer Ann Enderby, Mrs. Lauren Johnson Garcia, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilbert Midgett and Mrs. Leigh Carter Young. Miss. Catherine Amy and Miss Katherine Sparling, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls. The groomsmen were Mr. Sherwood Alexander Collette, Mr. Robert Thomas Elling, Mr. Douglas Van Garner, Jr., Mr. Luke Edward Morrow, Mr. Benjamin Houston Wilson and Mr. Kevin Scott Young. Master Andrew Joseph Pitts, cousin of the bride, rang the bell to announce the bride.
With the men in black tuxes, the women donned floor length chiffon and dupioni dresses each different styles and shades of blue, created by Dallas designer Nicolas Villalba.
Dinner and dancing followed at the Dallas Country Club.
After honeymooning in St Lucia, the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas where the bride is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte and the bridegroom is a Senior Sales Representative for Bioventus.
