Lutheran Church of the Epiphany in Avon was the setting for the Sunday, December 29, 2013 wedding of Suzanne W. Barnhoorn and Patrick E. Beardslee. The 3 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Clayton Zuber.
The bride wore a vintage lace gown with a long flowery veil.
Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Kelly Snitzel. Bridesmaids were Brittney Brogden, Alyssa Rosenbauer, Katie Bowe, Juli Stressing, and Sierra Derby.
Best man was the groom's brother, Phil Beardslee. Groomsmen were Garrett Rossi, Ben Tripi, Luke Lopuchowycz, and Mike Schaefer. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Terry Warren.
Following the service, a reception was held for family and friends in the church's fellowship hall.
Suzanne is the daughter of Michael J. Barnhoorn of Scottsville and Larry and Becky Dunn of Bloomfield. She is also the granddaughter of Rebecca Barnhoorn of Canandaigua and the late Bart J. Barnhoorn, and Joyce Barnard of Canandaigua and the late James E. Barnard.
Pat is the son of Mark and Ellen Beardslee of East Bloomfield. He is also the grandson of Barbara Beardslee of Rochester and the late Ralph W. Beardslee, and the late Eugene and Marguerite O'Brien.
The new Mrs. Beardslee is a 2013 graduate of Bloomfield Central School. She is a Private in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Lee in Virginia where she completed Advanced Individual Training to be an ammunition specialist. The bride will continue her training at the US Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. Upon completion of airborne training, she will be stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, 82nd Airborne Division.
The groom graduated from Bloomfield Central School in 2009 and attended Finger Lakes Community College. He is employed at Vahue Construction in Bloomfield as a cabinet-maker.
