Charles and Joyce Dear of Florence, Miss. announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Dear, to Daniel Woeber, both of Fort Worth, Texas. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Fred and Carole Woeber of Austin, Texas.

The bride-elect graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Mississippi State University. She is employed as Manager of Support and Consulting at Pointwise, Inc. The prospective bridegroom graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University. He is co-owner of Systems MD, a computer and network solutions consulting company based in Albuquerque, NM and Fort Worth.

They plan to marry at 6 p.m. July 28, 2012, at The Orchard, Azle, Texas with a reception to follow.
