Katherine Marie Coerver of Fort Worth and Connor Reed Davis of Bryan, Texas were united in marriage December 1, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Robert Carr Chapel at Texas Christian University. Dr. Thomas H. Davis, father of the groom, officiated. Music was provided by Betty Boles, organist. A reception followed at Colonial Country Club. The bride's cake was provided by Sugar Bee Sweets and the groom's cake was a gift from a family friend. Photography was provided by Sarah Rizy of Lightly Photography. Flowers were designed by Darla Bettencourt of Flowers by Blossoms on the Bricks. Transportation was provided by Silver West Limousines. Invitations were created by Invitations by Salutations. Guests danced to music provided by Trey and the Tritones. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at City Club Fort Worth.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Don and Marie Coerver of Fort Worth. She is the granddaughter of the late Edward and Eleanor Solon of Dallas and the late Marion and Mildred Coerver of Dallas. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. Thomas H. and Biddie Davis of Bryan, Texas. He is the grandson of George Davis and the late Gladys Davis of Malakoff, Texas and Dr. Gordon Pratt Sr. and the late Margaret Pratt of Bryan.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a La Sposa by Pronovias backless gown from Patsy's Bridal Boutique in Dallas.
Maid of honor was Brittney Herman of Dallas. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Bury, Christina Carter, Caitlin Cribbs, Whitney Davis, Stephanie Murray and Patricia Sprague. The house party included Kelly Bibb and Stia Coffman. Best man was Payton Davis of Colorado Springs, Colo. Groomsmen were Drew Bibb, Grant Carson, Todd Martin, Evan Miller, Adam Murphy and Samuel Sweeney. Ushers included Cameron Becker, Daniel Bravin, Caleb Coffman and Ben Lutz.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of All Saints Episcopal School and a 2010 graduate of Baylor University where she received a bachelor of arts degree in Public Relations. The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Baylor University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is employed as an associate landman with an oil and gas company in Green, Ohio.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, the Domincan Republic, the couple will reside in Canton, Ohio.
