Keri Elizabeth DeVos of Fort Worth and Bradley Holt Hickman, Jr. of Fort Worth were united in marriage November 17, 2012, at seven o'clock in the evening at University Christian Church. Reverend Larry Thomas officiated the candlelight service. Music was provided by Janet Pummill, organist, and Mark Burrows, soloist. A reception followed at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Cakes were provided by Stir Crazy Baked Goods and Creme De La Creme and guests danced to the pop sounds of Signed Sealed Delivered. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at The Fort Worth Club.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald Abel DeVos and Carol Ann DeVos of Fort Worth. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Remi DeVos, Herbert James Elfring and the late Ruth Katherine Elfring of Jackson, Michigan. The bridegroom is the son of Bradley Holt Hickman and Cynthia Autry Hickman of Fort Worth. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Holt Hickman of Fort Worth, the late Jim C. Autry, and Dr. and Mrs. Jim Zum Brunnen of Shreveport, La.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an Eve of Milady couture gown. The elegant silk satin gown featured lace appliqués hand-embroidered with delicate silver beading, Swarovski crystals and bridal pearls. A graceful, cathedral length train was attached to the dropped bodice.
Maid of honor was Frances Marian Benoist of Houston, Texas. Bridesmaids were Margaret Hickman Lane and Katherine Anne Strickland of Fort Worth, Jean Elizabeth Goldfarb of Los Angeles, Calif., Amanda Katy Moyneur of Escondido, Calif., Leigh Anne Eaton of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Lauren Miller MacMillan of Chicago, Ill. The house party included Whitney Sewell Creel of La Vernia, Texas, Kiley Irwin Elfring and Christie Rowe Kiesel of Chicago, Ill., Kathryn Jo Kostohryz and Kathryn May Lattimore of Fort Worth, and Samantha Anne Siegel of Louisville, Colo. Best men were Clifton Autry Hickman and Jeffrey Harrison Broyles of Fort Worth. Groomsmen were John Richard Garland, Jr., Robert Andrew Rowe, William Clingman Jennings and John Patrick-Allison Lane of Fort Worth and William Scott Thompson, Jr. of Houston. Ring bearer was the bridegroom's nephew, John Patrick-Allison Lane, Jr. of Fort Worth. The ushers included Chad S. DeVos and Cole Alan DeVos of San Diego, Calif., Travis Gardner Goff and Holt Carlos Kostohryz of Fort Worth, William Martin Smalley of New York, NY, and Kyle Weldon Spencer of Austin, Texas.
The bride attended Fort Worth Country Day and graduated from the University of Michigan where she played field hockey and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was employed by Marc Platt Productions in Universal City, California. The groom attended Arlington Heights and graduated from the University of Texas where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is currently working as an associate partner at Hickman Companies and is a member of The Steeplechase Club.
The couple honeymooned at the Four Seasons Resort in Bora Bora and currently reside in Fort Worth.
