Alicia Lynn Jamieson and Kasey Zacharia Vogel, both of Arlington, Texas, were united in marriage January 26, 2013 at six o'clock in the evening at Trinity United Methodist Church, Arlington, Texas. Dr. Scott Youngblood officiated. Music was provided John Wolf, organist, and Paige Wachsmann, soloist. A reception followed at McDavid Studio at Bass Hall. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents the night before at Shady Valley Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Lisa Jamieson of Arlington, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Jack V. Jamieson and Eva Mock of Longview, Texas, and Jerry and Margaret Holmes of Kingsport, Tennessee. The bridegroom is the son of Rebecca Vogel and David Vogel of Arlington, Texas. He is the grandson of Glenda and Joe Smalling of Carrollton, Texas.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Justin Alexander gown of Dupioni silk with intricate crystal beaded accents. Accenting her gown was the veil worn by her mother in her wedding.
Maids of honor were the bride's sisters, Lauren and Samantha Jamieson. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Hamann, Lauren Morris and Nicky Butler. Flower girl was Jillian Sides. Best man was Levi Henshaw. Groomsmen were Justin Brucks, Parker Douglas, Casey O'Reilly and Zachary Hamann. Ring bearer was William Holmes.
The bride is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she received her degree in retail management and was a member of Alpha Phi sorority. She is employed as a business manager for Tom Ford cosmetics at Neiman Marcus. The bridegroom is a recent graduate of Texas College in Tyler, Texas where he received his degree in physical education and was a member of the baseball and golf teams.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and are residing in Arlington.
