Robert and Charlene Harrison of North Richland Hills celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 7, 2014. After meeting at North Texas State University, they were married on March 7, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, were they have resided ever since.
Robert recently retired from a long and distinguished career in banking with Frost Bank, Summit Bank, First Republic Bank, Interfirst Bank, and Northeast National Bank to name a few, where he was a real blessing to many of his customers. Charlene had a career as a legal assistant, and as an administrative assistant at North Fort Worth Baptist Church before retiring to enjoy her family, attending as many of her grandchildren's events as she can.
Robert and Charlene are active members at North Richland Hills Baptist Church and enjoy traveling and spending time with their friends and family.
They have been wonderful parents to their two daughters: Robin, wife of Kelly Hancock; and Tricia, wife of Michael Marshall. They have five grandchildren: Chloe, Skylar and Harrison Hancock; and Cole and Connor Marshall.
Robert and Charlene will be celebrating this joyous occasion with their family during a trip to the Texas Hill Country.
