Apruzzese - Tazzara Margaret and Philip Apruzzese of Torrington announce the engagement of their son, Jason, to Kristen Tazzara of Winsted. She is the daughter of Kim and Wayne Tazzara of Winsted. The future bride and groom had their first date in December of 2005 and were engaged February 2012. A 1999 graduate of Torrington High School, the future groom graduated from Castleston State College with a degree in geology. He is a financial advisor with First Niagara Investment Services. The future bride is 1999 graduate of The Gilbert School and earned her degree in early childhood education from Northwestern Connecticut Community College in 2003. She is an assistant director at Giant Steps Daycare. The wedding is planned for June 2013 in Westport.
