Miss Caroline Cowden Looke and Mr. Andrew Franklin Benak were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at six o'clock in the evening at The Clubs of Houston Oak in Hockley, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Adam Greene of Jacksonville, Florida. Music for the ceremony was provided by a quartet from Leah Zeger. Following the ceremony, the bride's parented hosted a tented reception at The Club at Houston Oaks with entertainment provided by Big Blast and The Party Masters from Atlanta, Georgia. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's family hosted a rehearsal dinner in the Pavilion at The Clubs of Houston Oaks.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil James Looke III of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the Mrs. Elizabeth C. Walter and the late Mr. Joseph Charles Walter, junior of Houston, Texas and the late Colonel and Mrs. Cecil James Looke, junior of Palestine, Texas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Lee Benak of Fulshear, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. Jerry Louis Sims and the Late Mrs. Wyonna Don Swindell Sims of Houston, Texas.

Escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a custom designed gown by Monique Lhuillier. The dress featured a fitted silhouette with hand embroidered lace appliques, a plunging back with satin buttons and illusion sleeves all with lace details. Caroline wore a cathedral length custom veil with matching lace appliques and carried a garden gathered bouquet of gardenias, stephanotis, white lilac, white astilbe and rosemary.

Serving as Maid of Honor was one of the bride's sisters, Mary Frances Cecila Looke . Bridesmaids included sisters of the bride, Christiana Courtney Looke, Elizabeth Looke-Stewart, Catherine Looke Thompson, sister-in-law, Lindsey Bromley Looke, sister of the groom, Kearby Elizabeth Benak and Megan Kelli LaVallie, Theodora Abigail Owen-Pontez, Karla Erika Shannon and Alia Eads Van Hoef. Carlyle Elise Looke, the bride's niece, served as Flower Girl. Members of the House Party included Alyssa Carmen Herring and Amira Najette Naser.

Codey Lee Morehouse served the groom as Best Man. Groomsmen were brothers of the bride, Joseph William Stewart Looke, Steven Stewart Looke, Walter Collins Looke, brother-in-law to the bride, Scott Benjamin Thompson and Thomas Milton Crain III, James Nicholas Hanslik, Michael Anthony Richard Mercer, Andrew Chester Nowak, Nathan Stephen Ough, Anthony Michael Rendon and Douglas Taylor Wall. Ushers included Trace Joseph Barnett, Michael Vincent Fuda, Michael Lewis Goodnight, Shane Adam Hoelscher and Steven Kyle Sultzbaugh. Ring Bearers were nephews of the bride, Clement Rye Swinburne and Bromley Walter Looke.

Caroline is a 2008 graduate of Kinkaid High School in Houston and is a 2012 graduate from the University of Alabama where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Fashion Retailing and a Minor in Business and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. To continue her education, Caroline obtained a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University where she graduated in 2016. Currently, Caroline is a Petroleum Engineer for Walter Oil and Gas Corporation based out of Houston, Texas.

Andrew is a 2008 graduate of Langham Creek High School in Houston and is a 2013 graduate from Rice University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Sport Management. While at Rice, Andrew was a 4-year member of the Rice Owls Baseball. In 2012 Andrew was drafted in the 14th round of the MLB draft by the New York Yankees. Today Andrew is employed by Lockton Companies as their Assistant Vice President.

Following their honeymoon to the Maldives, Mr. and Mrs. Benak now reside in Houston, Texas.
