Mrs. Marilyn Simmons of Cypress, Texas, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Caroline, to James K. Skipton IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. James K. Skipton III of Dripping Springs, Texas.
Miss Simmons is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. She is a lobbyist with Texas Lobby Group in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Skipton is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and pursuing a law degree at the University of Texas in Austin.
The wedding is scheduled for January in Austin, Texas.
