Miss Falynn Kristine Chapman and Mr. Dakrin Joseph Dow were united in marriage on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at four o'clock in the afternoon at Our Lady of Cedars Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. The Sacrament of Marriage was celebrated by Father Pierre Khoury, Father Milad Yaghi, and Father Edward Hanna. Following the ceremony, the groom's parents hosted a reception at Corinthian Houston where guests were greeted with extravagant hor d'oeuvres and dinner soon followed prepared by Chef Barbara McKnight of Culinaire.

On the Thursday before the wedding, a dinner was hosted by the soon to be bride and groom at Wasfi's as they welcomed more than 90 out of town guests --including friends and family-- that traveled from around the world to enjoy a night of mezza, music, and dancing ahead of celebrating the couple's nuptials.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Joel Van Chapman and Ms. Debra Gay Chapman. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Charla Stepanski and the late Mr. Joseph Stepanski. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph George Dow.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a timeless Mikaella by Paloma Blanca open back gown. The crêpe dress with bateau neckline and long sleeves was accentuated with a beaded appliqué belt and a fit and flare skirt with cascading covered buttons running down the lower back to the cathedral length train. To complement the gown, the bride wore a double horsehair edge cathedral length veil made by the couple's friend in Los Angeles. The bride carried a hand tied bouquet composed of white hydrangeas, roses, and ranunculus framed by silver dollar eucalyptus.

Miss Daphne Milo Dow, sister of the groom, served as Maid of Honor. Mr. Joseph George Dow, father of the groom, served as the Best Man.

Falynn graduated from Westside High School in Houston, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University. She is employed by Houston Methodist Hospital. Dakrin graduated from Deer Park High School in Deer Park, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Texas A&M University. He is employed by Dow Pipe and Fence Supply.

Following a three week exotic honeymoon to Thailand and Bali, Mr. and Mrs. Dow will reside in Houston, Texas.
