Miss Lauren Keslye Marsh and Mr. Christopher William Thomas were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at half past five in the evening atop Aspen Mountain. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Gregg Anderson, Chaplain Emeritus at the Aspen Chapel. Music for the ceremony was provided by Silver City Strings, which featured a string quartet. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Aspen Mountain Club. On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner at the Aspen Art Museum.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Marsh of Houston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Lowe of Livingston, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Marsh of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Seymour Thomas, III of Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leopold Ughetta, II of Scarsdale, New York and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Seymour Thomas, Junior of Brooklyn, New York.
Escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents the bride wore an elegant embroidered Chantilly lace gown designed by Monique Lhuillier. To complete her ensemble, the bride wore an embroidered lace veil and carried a lush bouquet made of garden roses, accented by Tyler roses and gently draping pieces of jasmine vine.
Serving as Maid of Honor was the bride's sister, Lindsay Elyse Marsh of Austin, Texas. Bridesmaids included Rachel Dyer Allred of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Alexandra Brawley Blonkvist of New York, New York, Lauren Page Coffman of Dallas, Texas, Jacqueline Thomas Foster of New York, New York, Elizabeth Hasty Graper of Austin, Texas, Allison McDonnold Morley of Midland, Texas, Catherine Clarke Murphy of Houston, Texas, Sarah Esterbrook Novelli of Dallas, Texas and Virginia Hayes Spilman of Chicago, Illinois. The bridesmaids wore formal gowns in a soft gray. They each carried a hand-tied bouquet with white garden roses, ranunculus and greenery.
Arthur Seymour Thomas, III, father of the groom, served as the Best Man. Groomsmen were Scott Christopher Aland of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, David Richard Alexandre of New York, New York, Timothy Brent Blonkvist, Junior of New York, New York, Thomas Tait Foster of New York, New York, Gregor Campbell MacLennan of New York, New York, Willy Turner Sanders-Lyle of Denver, Colorado, William Berryhill Teddy of Edina, Minnesota, Matthew Rudolph Tervooren of Brooklyn, New York, Paul Richard Ughetta of London, England and Thomas Henry Ughetta of Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
Lauren is a 2007 graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2011, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development and Spanish and a minor in Corporate Strategy. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. The bride is a Vice President in Investor Relations at Ares Management Corporation.
Christopher is a 2007 graduate of The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011, with distinction, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Environmental Science. He is a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Mr. Thomas is a cyber security technologist and Senior Technical Manager at Darktrace, a cyber threat defense company.
Following their honeymoon in South Africa, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas will reside in New York, New York.
