Lindsey Marie Lane and Robert Aloysius Kreikemeier were married September 22, 2012 at Mildale Farm in Edgerton, Kansas. Friends and family gathered to witness the lakeside ceremony, officiated by Pastor Carla Hillyer. The wedding was set at 5:00 in the evening with a barn reception immediately following. The bride wore a vintage ivory satin dress that was previously worn by her grandmother and mother. Guests enjoyed the beautiful music of a string quartet during the ceremony and a live country band at the reception. Willie the Wildcat made his special guest appearance to congratulate the happy couple. After a barbeque dinner, wedding cheese cake, and country swing dancing, the couple left the barn under a cascade of sparklers. The bride is the daughter of Walt and Jana Lane of Parkville, Missouri. She received a Bachelor's of Science and a Master's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University. She is a speech-language pathologist at Hallmark Rehabilitation. The groom is the son of Kelly and Patty Kreikemeier of West Point, Nebraska. He received a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science from Kansas State University and a Master's in Bioethics from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He is currently completing his 2nd year of Medical School at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. The couple is looking forward to a June honeymoon in Panama (Central America). They reside in Spring Hill, Kansas.
