Mr. and Mrs. Charles Michael Evert, Junior, of Atlanta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily DeHaven Evert, to Eric Jon Salnas, son of Scott I. Salnas and the late Karen Ann Salnas of Scottsdale, Arizona. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James A. Wheeler and the late Billie Wheeler of Shell Point, and Ruth Haywood Evert and the late Charles Evert, Senior, of Columbus, GA.
Miss Evert is a graduate of Pace Academy and the University of Georgia where she received a Bachelors of Business Administration, summa cum laude with honors; was the Terry College of Business Senior of the Year; and was the VP of Finance of her sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. Miss Evert is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was presented by the Atlanta Debutante Club at the 2006 Harvest Ball at the Piedmont Driving Club. She is currently in her final year at Harvard Business School where she is seeking a Masters of Business Administration.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Vilas Bursack and the late Helen Mittlestadt, the late Ieva Salnajs and the late Andrew Salnajs. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona where he received a Bachelor's of Business Administration, while holding executive positions at Pi Kappa Alpha. He later became certified in public accounting in the state of Arizona and received his MBA from the University of Texas in Austin. He is currently employed as a Director at Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting.
A June wedding is planned at The Estate in Atlanta.
