Mrs. Carlton Grady Hamrick of Gray, Georgia is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Maribeth Banks Hamrick, to Charles Robert Bosshardt, son of Dr. and Mrs. David Charles Bosshardt of Chickamauga, Georgia. Maribeth is also the daughter of the late Carlton Grady Hamrick.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Washburn Bowden and the late Mr. Walter Banks Bowden of Gray and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwards Signor Hamrick of Gray.
Dr. Hamrick is a 2002 graduate of First Presbyterian Day School. She received a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the University of Georgia in 2006. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and a 2003 Bon Hommes Presentee. She received a medical doctorate from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2010. Dr. Hamrick is a doctor of Internal Medicine with a specialty in Palliative Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenneessee.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jennings Bosshardt of Atlanta, Georgia and Mrs. Robert Marvin Dameron, Sr. and the late Mr. Robert Marvin Dameron Sr. of Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Bosshardt is a 2002 graduate. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Georgia in 2006. He received a medical doctorate from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2011. Dr. Bosshardt is a doctor of Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital with plans to specialize in Gastroenterology.
The wedding is planned for January 11, 2014 at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.
