Mr. and Mrs. Brent McCauley of Tyler and Scottsville announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Sarah Tyler McCauley of Houston, to Cade Allen Crumley of Houston.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Patsy Bailey and the late Richard Bailey, the late Dorris Harkins McCauley and Roger McCauley, all of Marshall, and the great-granddaughter of Lillie Rudd of Marshall. Sarah earned a bachelor's degree in 2011 from Texas A&M University in elementary education. She was a member of the Texas State Teachers Association, HOSTS, Omega Phi Alpha and a 'Big Event" volunteer. She is employed with Spring ISD as a third-grade teacher at Thompson Elementary.
The future groom is the son of Ray Crumley of Odessa and Carole Haltom Crumley Grady of Cuero, Texas. He is the grandson of Grace Crumley and the late Alton Ray Crumley and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haltom, all of Odessa. Cade earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 from Texas A&M University in political science. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets, Company E-2, platoon officer, intramural football and basketball and a 'Big Event" volunteer. He is employed as a hospital administration patient liaison with Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.
The couple will marry November 17, 2012, at 7 p.m., at Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler. The reception will follow at the Cascades Golf Club in Tyler.
