Lightfoot-Gawley
Robert and Kathy Lightfoot of Shenandoah, Iowa, and Michael and Colleen Gawley of the Elkhorn area would like to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Trisha Lightfoot and John Gawley.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ona Marie and the late Donald Scott, and Mary and the late Vern Lightfoot. Trisha graduated from Farragut High School and Drake University. She is employed as a graphic designer at HDR Inc.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late William and Elizabeth Bennett, and the late Johnny and Marie Gawley. John graduated from Skutt Catholic High School and the Art Institue of Phoenix. He is employed as the art director at Omaha Publications.
Trisha and John are both members of AIGA - the Professional Association for Design. He proposed to her at Holy Family Shrine on December 24, 2011. The couple plan a 2 p.m. wedding on August 4, 2012, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Omaha.
