Caitlin Marie Tripp and Matthew Lee Decker were united in marriage on March 9, 2013 at the Apalachin United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mary Jean Simonin, pastor of the church, officiating. Caitlin is the daughter of KC and Sue Tripp of Apalachin, NY. Matthew is the son of Julie Dimon of Binghamton, NY and Harold Stack of Port Orange, FL.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her son, Andrew Tripp, and the mother of the groom was escorted by her son, Lee Dimon. The bride was escorted by her father. The bride wore a lace gown by Allure and carried a bouquet of green and purple flowers wrapped in lace from her mother's bridal gown.
Erika Tripp Richgruber was matron of honor for her cousin. Jenna Gyidik, cousin of the bride and Mary Toole Conners, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids. Layla Dimon, niece of the groom, Olivia Bundy, cousin of the bride and Jordyn Conners, friend of the bride were flower girls.
Brian Decker was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Lee Dimon, brother of the groom, Dan VanScoy and Kyle Ives, friends of the groom. Aidan Decker, son of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The accompanist for the ceremony was Debbie Tripp, aunt of the bride, who played a medley of Irish music on the piano and violin. Evan Tripp, cousin of the bride, sang and played the guitar during the lighting of the unity candle. The ceremony was followed by a reception on the 18th floor of the Binghamton State Office Building.
The groom graduated from Binghamton High School and Broome Community College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Product Coach for the Texas Roadhouse, Vestal, NY. The bride is a graduate of Owego Free Academy and Broome Community College and is a Registered Dental Hygienist with Robert E. Bain, DDS, Binghamton, NY. The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic and is residing in Binghamton, NY.
