Danielle Lynn Henry and Timmothy Michael Ames were married on July 29, 2017 at Reflections at Tioga Gardens. The Rev. Daniel Jirschele officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Donald Henry and her mother, Kathy Picard. The groom is the son of Jonathan and Michelle Ames.
The bride chose Amie Pitman, sister of the bride, as her Matron of Honor. Her bridesmaids were: Danielle Ames, sister of the groom, Lindsey Coohill, cousin of the bride, and April Holbrook, cousin of the bride. Teagan Pitman, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
The groom chose David Jones, friend of the groom, as his Best Man. Groomsmen were: Joshua Sember, Jack Butler, and Daniel Jirschele, friends of the groom. Dax Shepherd, fur baby of the bride and groom, was the ring bearer.
The bride and groom were engaged to be married in July 2016 under a full moon during a boat ride on Indian Lake, New York. The wedding colors were royal blue and gold. Their first wedding dance was to the song "All of Me" sung by the sister of the groom. After the reception, the newlyweds honeymooned at Indian Lake, New York and visited several National Parks including: the Badlands, Yellowstone, and Glacier.
The bride graduated from Blue Ridge High School and Broome Community College. She is an Assistant Teacher for Opportunities for Broome Head Start. The groom graduated from Vestal High School and Broome Community College. He is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Willow Point Nursing Center. Please send congratulations to the happy couple on their first wedding anniversary!
