Maria C. Tubby and David R. Stamp were married on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Horseheads, NY. Pastor Richard Hack officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Barbara Tubby of Elmira, NY. The groom is the son of Michael and Deborah Stamp of Elmira, NY.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a traditional satin and lace gown, carrying a bouquet of white daisies and yellow roses.
Kathryn Tubby, sister of the bride, served as maid-of-honor. The bride's childhood friends, Ashley Sargent, Angel Foster, Rachel Courier, and Danielle Nowosiadlo completed the bridesmaids.
John Bloom, the groom's best friend, served as best man. Timothy Wilcox, Jr., cousin of the groom, Cory Hall, Grennan Milliken, and Alex Hughes rounded out the groomsmen.
Flower girl Hannah Conrad, ring bearer Gunner Wilcox, and ushers Jordan Wilcox and Matthew Wilcox completed the wedding party. A reception in honor of the couple was held at the Treadway Inn in Owego, NY.
The bride graduated in 2011 from Mansfield University with dual degrees in elementary education and early childhood education. After teaching in the Towanda Area School District for two years, Maria now teaches at the Rosedale Baptist Academy in Baltimore.
The groom is a 2012 graduate of Alfred University with a degree in athletic training. He is currently enrolled in the doctorate of physical therapy program at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
The happy couple are living in Baltimore, MD.
