Mrs. Kade Michael Steiner
Brooke Elizabeth Conque and Kade Michael Steiner were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Very Rev. Chester C. Arceneaux, VF officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Anthony Conque. Her mother is the former Colleen Kirsch. The groom is the son of Ms. Vickie Delahoussaye and Mr. Stuart Steiner. Brooke is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Huey P. Kirsch of Roberts Cove, Louisiana and Mr. G. Allen Conque of Carencro, Louisiana and the late Mrs. Carole Jane Conque. Kade is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Delahoussaye, Sr. of St. Martinville, Louisiana and Mr. and Mrs. Alvoid Steiner of Cecilia, Louisiana.
Escorted by her father, and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a bridal ball gown with beautiful off-shoulder lace bodice with scalloped, re-embroidered elbow-length sleeves and lace up back. The hemline is exquisitely accented with re-embroidered lace that ends in a chapel length train. She wore a classic cathedral length tulle veil with added beaded appliques. Within her bouquet, Brooke carried her grandmother's blue rosary. Katherine Kirsch, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Melissa Cavanaugh and Annelise Geramie, friends of the bride, Kalin Menard, cousin of the groom and Kristen Steiner, sister-in-law of the groom. Ana Steiner, Godchild of the groom and Olivia Steiner, niece of the groom, served as flower girls. Matthew Randazzo, Jr., friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included, 1st Lt. M. Anthony Conque, brother of the bride, Connor Kirsch, cousin of the bride, and Keith Steiner and Kyle Steiner, brothers of the groom. Ring bearers were Graison Conque, nephew of the bride, and Briggs Theriot. Serving as ushers were Brady Burch, Josh Delahoussaye, and Matthew Laperouse, all friends of the groom. Readers of the ceremony included Jamie Kirsch, Godmother of the bride, and Lauren Tumminello.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Warehouse 535 to honor the couple.
