Patrice Fontenot, of Baton Rouge, and Matthew LaBauve, of New Iberia, were married in a 1 p.m. ceremony March 23 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lafayette. The Rev. Howard Blessing officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Fontenot, of Lafayette, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Burbank Jr., of Baton Rouge.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith LaBauve, of New Iberia.
He is the grandson of Cassie Rodrigue Indest, of New Iberia.
The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Abby Guillory. Bridesmaids were Renee Hess, Aundrea Allen, Brooke Bell and Camryn Hess. Flower girl was Camille LaBauve.
The bridegroom was attended by his best man, Jacob Lewis. Groomsmen were Tommy LaBauve, Alan Haney, Jeff Simoneaux and Kennan Guillory. Ushers were Michael LaBauve and David LaBauve. Ring bearer was Wyatt Allen.
Reader was Eva LeBlanc. Gift bearers were Cindy Landry and Mary Ellen Hathorne.
A reception took place at Fatima Knights of Columbus Hall. Following a wedding trip to Napa Valley and San Francisco, Calif., the couple will reside in Youngsville.
