Carrie Suzanne Binder and Joseph Brint Marks, both of Baton Rouge, were married in a 7 p.m. ceremony Jan. 12 at Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in New Orleans. Rabbi Eugene Levy officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Lisa and Dore Binder, of Baton Rouge.
She is the granddaughter of the late Bebe and Leon Binder, Isabel Posner, of Opelousas, the late Gerald Posner and the late Mary and Harvey Posner.
The bridegroom is the son of Becky and Jay Marks, of Little Rock, Ark.
He is the grandson of Janice and Jerry Brewer, of Junction City, Ark., Leon Marks, of Little Rock, and the late Beatrice Marks.
The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Haley Binder. Bridesmaids were Lauryn Hoffman, Courtney Kirkpatrick, Sara Loewy, Leah Fuerst Raley, Gab Stolarski and Sadie Weiner.
The bridegroom was attended by his best men, Ryan Gibson and Ryan CarlLee. Groomsmen were Nick Limbird, Jeffrey Marks, Jason Binder, Kris Khalil and Jonathan Rosenberg. Ushers were Jonny Orlansky, Stew Krane and Gene Mykoff. Ring bearers were Chase and Tripp Olive.
A reception followed. The couple will reside in Baton Rouge and plan to take a wedding trip to Hawaii in May.
