Rebekah Gail Branscomb and Anthony Lawrence Taylor were married October 12, 2013 in a 4:30 afternoon ceremony held at First Presbyterian Church in Tuscumbia with Scott Barber officiating. The reception was followed at The Round House in Tuscumbia, where a wonderful time was had by all.
The bride is the daughter of Lewis and Marie Branscomb of Sheffield. The groom is the son of Ms. Patricia Taylor of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Taylor of Tony.
Maids of honor were Mary Patton Branscomb and Elizabeth Branscomb, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Frances Taylor of Madison, sister of the groom; Kendall Branscomb of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., sister-in-law of the bride; and Sophie McCormick of Wayne, Pa., friend of the bride. Honorary bridesmaids were Kayla Odell, Emily Steles and Lindsay Steien. Flower girls were Kristen and Karlie Branscomb of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., nieces of the bride.
Best man was Arden Taylor of Madison, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were David Branscomb of Greensboro, N.C., brother of the bride; Corey Gargis of Rogersville and Jesse Thompson of Florence, friends of the groom; Peter Branscomb of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., brother of the bride. Ushers were Carderel Brown of Birmingham, and Kyle Everett of Nashville, Tenn., all friends of the groom, John McCormick and Micheal McCormick of Wayne, Pa., friends of the bride.
