Emily Kathlene Weaver and Nicholus Lee Taylor have chosen June 29, 2013 for their wedding. Vows will be exchanged at 2:00 in the afternoon at Pilot Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Vina, Ala. with A.H. Akins officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Ricky and Dawn Weaver of Red Bay and Melissa Lamar of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of Wanda and Robert Wallace of Iron City, Tenn., Glen and Wilma Tucker and the late Milton Weaver of Leoma, Tenn., and Chris Oden and the late Errol Oden of Phil Campbell. She is the great-granddaughter of Ruby Luncford of Leoma, Tenn. and Eunice Franklin of Dublin, Ga.
The prospective groom is the son of Christy Hacker Thorn of Red Bay and Nicky Taylor of Belgreen. He is the grandson of Lee and Wanda Hacker of Vina, Larry and Linda Everett and the late Ray Taylor of Belgreen.
Miss Weaver is a graduate of Red Bay High School. She received an Associate of Science degree from Northwest Shoals Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of North Alabama. She is currently employed as a licensed pharmacy technician at Redmont Pharmacy in Red Bay.
Mr. Taylor is a graduate of Red Bay High School and attended Northwest Shoals Community College. He is currently employed with Tiffin Motorhomes in Red Bay.
