James and Deb Taff of Phil Campbell are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodi Leigh Taff, to Andrew James Brackin, son of Larry and Sandy Brackin of Russellville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of of the late W.E. and Bertsie Taff of Phil Campbell and Nadien Frederick and the late Edward Frederick of Hackleburg.
Miss Taff is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Troy University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Bobby and Theresa Sorrells Lamar Brackin and the late Mary Brackin, all of Hartford. He is also the great-grandson of Ruby Sorrells of Hartford.
Mr. Brackin is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Excercise Science. He also received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. He is currently employed as a physical therapist at The Orthopedic Center in Madison.
The wedding will be April 12, 2014 at 5:00 in the afternoon at First Baptist Church in Russellville with Carl James officiating. A reception will follow at the home of the bride's parents.
