Gregory & Kersey
The marriage of Miss Leslie Meredith Kersey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bruce Kersey, to Mr. Christopher Mark Gregory, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mark Gregory, all of Richmond, Virginia, took place November 17, 2012, at Cannon Memorial Chapel at University of Richmond.
Dr. Blake Kersey officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arvin E. Bunger and the late Rev. and Mrs. Robert E. Kersey, all formerly of Paducah, Kentucky.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. Joseph F. Gregory of Richmond and the late Mrs. Anne F. Gregory, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Torbeck Sr., formerly
of Richmond.
The maid of honor was Miss Rebecca Cain of Houston, Texas, the bride's cousin. Bridesmaids were Betsy Kersey, sister-in-law of the bride; Kathleen Harik, sister of the groom; and Ashley Ewell, Alie Leep, and Nikki Albis. Ellie Kersey, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Lilly Kersey, niece of the bride, was honorary flower girl.
The best man was Mr. Joseph Mark Gregory of Richmond, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Simon Harik, brother-in-law of the groom; Michael Kersey, brother of the bride; Cary Leaman, Robert Quinn and Connor Quinn. Cole Harik, nephew of the groom, was honorary ring bearer.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Maggiano's Restaurant. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Hermitage Country Club.
The bride graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a master's degree in Teaching. She is employed by Henrico County Public Schools. The groom is Manager at Firestone Complete Auto Care.
The couple will reside in Richmond.
