Jessica Julie Ballew and Thomas Anthony Gola, II were united in marriage on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor, Texas. Officiating the ceremony was the Rev. Msgr. Lonnie Urban. Soloist was Pastor Kip Osborne. To continue the celebration, the bride's parents hosted a dinner and dance reception at The Taylor Mansion and Crystal Ballroom. The couple were honored with a rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding at the Taylor Mustang Creek Country Club, hosted by the groom's parents.
Jessica is the daughter of Debbie and Bob Ballew of Waco. She is the granddaughter of Tommy Daily and the late Cleo Daily of Waco, and the late Joyce and Darrell Ballew of Gholson. Jessica is a 1999 graduate of Bosqueville High School of Waco. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture. She currently teaches second grade at Nadine Johnson Elementary in Hutto.
Anthony is the son of B.J. and Thomas Gola of Taylor. He is the grandson of Mary Gola and the late Joe Gola, Sr. of Taylor and the late Majorie and Raymond Prinz of Taylor. Anthony is a 1999 graduate of Health Careers High School in San Antonio. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy and Entomology. He currently is a farmer, rancher and owns and operates an Ag business company in Taylor.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, Bob Ballew. The maid of honor was Krystal Cortez, friend and college roommate of the bride. Bridesmaid was Kimberly Lynn, her childhood friend. Taylor Thrower, cousin of the bride and Tiffany Alford, cousin of the groom served in the House Party.
The best man was Adam Gola, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Jerret Wilbourne, college friend of the groom. Ushers were Kevin Hoffman, Jonathan Krenek and Quentin Shieldknight, all college friends of the groom.
Following a honeymoon to the Smoky Mountains, the couple will reside in Taylor, Texas.
