Robert A. and Sonja R. Lindgren of Winston-Salem celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at their home.

The couple's children and their spouses are Ann and James LaRosee of Winston-Salem and Elizabeth and Walter Mullen of Brentwood, Tenn.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindgren have four grandchildren: Eric, Christopher, Morgan and Meredith.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindgren both retired from the UNC School of the Arts. Mr. Lindgren was the Founding Dean of the School of Dance.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindgren both worked in three major ballet companies, and several Broadway and television shows.

They were married June 4, 1952.
