Verna was my loving Grandmother. She was an amazing woman and I will miss her always. I will remember her smile, her hands, and her love.
I like thinking about our visits to New Jersey and being able to spend time with her and my Grandfather. Her wonderful meals and comfortable home. She would always make an angel food cake when we came to visit :)
I'm also grateful for the past several years when she lived in State College because I was able to spend even more time with her. We didn't talk much, but we would hold hands, hug and kiss each other. I loved her so much, I still can't believe that I'm not going to see her the next time I go home. There will definitely be a void, but at the same time, I somehow feel complete because I can have her with me always.
I'm so grateful for our time together - she truly was an angel. I miss hugging her and scratching each others backs.
I love you Grandma - you will be missed forever but you will always be in our hearts. You're an inspiration to everyone who knew you.
I love you! I love you! I love you!
