Dan,Marie and Jonathon:
I am so sorry for your loss, and can't even begin to imagine the pain, and heartache that comes from losing a parent.
John was my Uncle, Nancy(Strzezewski) Gallagher is my mother.
Although I didnt know Uncle John all that well,I do have fond memories of Grandpa John's 75th birthday party, where your father had us all rolling on the floor with laughter with his stories. My brother Gil once said to me that "Hanging out with family is like going to school, You learn something new every day"!!!! and BOY did I learn a lot about the Strzezewski's that day.
Your father will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him,and I hope you all find comfort in knowing that he is now watching over all whom HE loved. Peace be with you.

My Love, you lifted me up
Whenever I was down,
You held my hand and comforted me,
When sadness fell around.

You have made me laugh and cheered me when no one else could

You were the kind of person people longed for.
Together through thick and thin we have stood.

You had an uncanny ability
To make light of every situation,
And every day of our lives,
I thanked God for you, his creation

You never ceased to amaze me
And I loved you for all that you were
And all that you have brought to me.

You meant so much to me, I will miss you everyday.

You are now in His Loving Presence.
Amen

We knew John as "Big John", "The Mayor", and "Papa John". He always had a cigar for Pete, a hug for Emily, and a kiss for me. We will miss you, John!

Marie, Jon and Dan...
How your Dad took pride in his children. He loved telling us about you and the times you shared. And, o my, the stories about himself that he told! Heaven will be a much livelier place with his presence. As you move forward into this new phase of your lives, our thoughts and prayers are with you. May his spirit lighten the load and keep fond memories in your hearts.

Dan, Marie and Jon,
We are truly sorry for your great loss. It is difficult to lose a parent any any age. Remember the good times, not what might have been. He left you with a wealth of good memories and even better stories that he loved to share where ever he went. The world was his stage and he loved having the lead role! He was a "gentle giant". He will be missed by many. We will keep him and you in our prayers.
