To AL, Kris and all of the family of Liu. I worked with Al at Baxter for over 20 years and we used to discuss our brothers quite a bit - especially because they were both named Lou (spelled differently but sounds the same). I know that Al loved his brother very much and will miss him a lot. I wish there was more that I could do except say "I'm sorry, Al". I want you to know, Al, that my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family and that God gives you all the strength you need to carry this heavy cross. God bless all of you. Love from Carol & family.

I was fortunate enough to be sitting with Lou when he received the Cedric Pope award at the Rotary Dist Conference (the attached photo is the moment it was announced). Lou was a great guy, and we will miss him. Our deepest sympathies at the passing of a one-of-a-kind.
