Sidney S. Cohen; beloved husband of Sharon, nee Wenger; loving father of Marc (Marie) and Dena Cohen; fond PaPa and Pop-Pop of Shelby, Seth, Jamie and the late Jared; dear son of the late Irving (Fannie) Cohen; brother of the late Dorothy Slutsky; brother-in-law of Sharla (Richard) Breger; uncle of Ken (Narissa) Breger, Melissa (Tom) Breger-Capezza, Kim (John) Breger-Faigle; great-uncle of Ryan, Zach, Andrew Breger and Kalyn Breger-Capezza. Funeral services Friday, 10:30 a.m. at Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. He was a tireless fundraiser for and memorials to Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Ave., Suite 202, Wilmette, IL 60091 would be appreciated. Info Piser Funeral Services 847-679-4740.

Our deepest condolences and sympathies on Sid's passing. What an incredible person he was. Aside from his family and profession, it seemed his most important priority in life was his constant and untiring efforts on behalf of the Leukemia Research Foundation. His 40+ years of volunteering for the organization certainly had a major impact on thousands of lives and our collective contributions toward finding the cures. He will be most assuredly missed.
