Marty, I was so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your sister, Lenore. I have not seen her since your 50th birthday Party. As usual she was so friendly and kind. She was a good and enjoyable story teller. Being one of the oldest kids on the block (probably just a few years older than us, but, when your a kid....) she was so fun to listen to . She knew so much more than we did about the neighborhood. She just beamed, when she told us that she introduced you to Donna. She will be missed.

Marty, Lenore was the big sister on Kolin. I saw her not too long ago and she was so sweet and full of life. She is in a couple of the Evoy Slides playing a game of snake with a bunch of us Kolin kids. I am so sorry for your loss. Moira (Evoy)Riley

Marty, Collen and Joanne, I was so sorry to hear of Lenore's premature passing and will miss her and her email jokes, which were plentiful. I'm also sorry that I am unable to attend her service, but know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. I'm also glad that my daughters got to meet Lenore at the past few Reilly reunions. Hang in there. Love, Terry

I worked with Lenore a few years ago. She was so friendly and always had a smile. She made me laugh with her stories about "back in the day". She spoke fondly of her family so often. I will keep your family in my prayers. Rest in peace Lenore, it was a pleasure to know you.

Lenore helped so many people and opened her heart to all. One of her first partners, Peg Healy Dosch, introduced me to Lenore. Visiting Lenore’s home to share St. Patrick's Day celebrations was always a special treat. She loved her family dearly and her pride in their accomplishments was vocal and heartfelt. She touched so many lives. Lenore made the world a better place. She leaves a void in our hearts but the fond memories and remembering her humor and smile will live on forever.

We are so sorry that you have lost Lenore, such a loving sister and aunt. We met her many years ago when she and my sister Peggy joined the CPD together. We were lucky to enjoy her company, her St. Pat's parties, and her great stories. God rest her soul.

To the Flaherty Family...I was so sorry and shocked to hear of Lenore's death. I met Lenore in the 9th District in 1980 when we occasionally worked a car together. She was a pleasure to be around and always had a kind word for all. She was a fun, generous and wonderful hostess. She always spoke of her beloved nieces and nephews with great love. I know she will be watching over them from her place in heaven. She will be missed by many.

Lenore was my Sgt. in the Court Section, but more importantly, my friend. When we talked last, she told me she loved me and that she didn't think she said that enough to the people she cared for. I never had a doubt about how she loved her family and friends. You could always see it in her smile! God Bless you all.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your family member. I saw her twice over the past two months...at a wake for another retired police officer and at 115 Bourbon Street for a fundraiser for a police officer. She invited me to her house for St. Patrick's Day celebrations and was one of my sergeants in the 005th District. It was nice to see her friendly face as a court sergeant instead of the usual grumpy old men. I am very sad that the world has lost such a great person. She sat at my table at Bourbon Street for a couple of hours. We had a lot of laughs sharing CPD stories. God bless you Lenore!

A long time ago, 1987 or 1988, I worked CTA special employment with Lenore. I was a rookie and didn't know Lenore at all. She was so sweet and kind and impressed me with all she knew about so many police-y topics. The following week, even though we just had that one night of working together, she got me a part-time gig with a security job she also worked. Whenever I bumped into her through the years, I would thank her over and over for her kindness. Not too long ago, I saw her at Billy Goats and it had been some time since our last meeting. She still knew who I was and once again I thanked her for being the sweetest individual on the planet. We embraced and shared a few tears and she told me she was retiring. I was happy for her and she was happy too. Today, I saw her name in the obits and couldn't keep the tears from flowing. You see, since she touched my live 20+ years ago, when the going gets tough at work, I think about Lenore and I am inspired again. I never shared that thought with her.

Aunt Da'Nore and Nory will be missed greatly by the Stalla family. She was such a kind, generous, and gregarious soul, and best of all she was a true and loyal friend to my mom and all of our extended family. We are so sorry for your loss.
