Dear Hanigan kids. I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. I have fond memories of the McGowans and Hanigans hanging out in Oak Lawn back in the 60s and early 70s. Your Mom always had a smile and a kind word to say to all of us. May you find comfort in your memories and know she has been reunited with your Dad and both of them are now watching over you and your families. Sincerly, Kevin McGowan

Hanigan Family,
So very sorry to hear about your mom. You probably don't remember me but your mom and I were frineds for many years and kept in touch after I moved to Pennsylvania. In fact your whole family visited us one Easter when you were making a trip to Washington, D.C. Your mother was a unique person and will be missed by many people including me. They say you can tell a lot about a person when you play golf with them. Marie was an exceptional golfer and lady. She was always honest, helpful and had a great laugh to boot. We ladies of the Vagabond Golf League at Cog Hill will miss her very much. May God bless Marie and her family at this sad time.

Hanigan Family-I am extremely saddened for the passing of your mother. She was a special person and anyone who came in contact with her knew it. She was one of the most genuine and generous individuals. Your mother was a great person, and a devoted mother and friend.

As the dove of life that represents all that she was and is, now soars to heaven above to be at peace with your family above, it is now her time to rest. Please remember, your mother's spirit will continue to soar and live in you, in all your families, and in all of us.

Maureen, Bob, Allie & Dan -
We are so so sorry about your mom. I know how close you were to her and how very much you will miss her. We loved seeing her front and center at all the volleyball and basketball games, cheering on the kids, especially that libero! I remember how "bad" the ref got everytime her grandson was in the game. I'm still amazed at how she remembered all the kids names and even their numbers!! I know she still will be watching and cheering, just from a better seat! Please let me know if we can do anything. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
